Did you watch? I did not. I cannot bear to watch that smug, self-satisfied cretin. I have a limit to how many times I can listen to someone tell me black is white, and I passed it a long time ago.

I tried to watch, I really did...but between the countless standing ovations and the deliberate misleading statements, I turned to something else.
I did catch this little nugget at the begining.
"On September 11th, 2001, we found that problems originating in a failed and oppressive state 7,000 miles away could bring murder and destruction to our country.
Dictatorships shelter terrorists, feed resentment and radicalism, and seek weapons of mass destruction. Democracies replace resentment with hope, respect the rights of their citizens and their neighbors, and join the fight against terror.
Every step toward freedom in the world makes our country safer, and so we will act boldly in freedom's cause."
Notice hwo he never names the country that he is referring too.

-(let's be honest, his feable brain couldn't string together this many words in a coherent sentence, let alone a speech - his speech writer)....
Again, so instead of calling the country by name, he is purposefully vague and mentioend WMD, STILL trying to justify his misguided invasion of Iraq and play revisionist historian.
Thomas Friedman has a great OPED piece in todays NY Times.
For those who don't get it, I will quote:
