John, I'm reading "What's so great about christianity" by that wingnut Dinesh D'Souza. If only you'd read it, you'd see that Intelligent Design (he doesn't specify that term, but the idea of somebody having had to design the universe is clear) is just a matter of simple logic:
Everything has a cause
matter can only come from mind
ergo, a mind made the universe
so easy!
